Looking for outdoor gear? Bass Pro Shop offers 150,000 square feet of outdoor excitement including the area’s largest selection of quality gear for fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and marine.

4. Bed Bath & Beyond (Numerous Locations in Calgary)
Bed Bath & Beyond is a chain of home goods stores that offers a wide assortment of domestic merchandise and home furnishings.
According to Calgary Canine, Bed Bath & Beyond is dog friendly and their staff are well versed in their dog policy. However, the aisles can get quite busy and crowded so it’s recommended that you only bring your pup if they are friendly and well-behaved.

Enjoy casual fine dining in Southeast Calgary. Starbelly makes all of their creations from scratch, their menu is inspired by global cuisines and they create their dishes by proudly sourcing ingredients from local farms.

8. Ranchman’s Cookhouse at 9615 Macleod Trail, Calgary
Ranchman’s is Calgary’s iconic country nightclub and favorite Stampede hot spot for the last 50 years. Ranchman’s presents some of the biggest names in country music and is the official hospitality location of the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association!
Fun fact, they were one of the first eateries in Canada to become pet-friendly. Leashed, well-behaved pooches can hang out with their pet parents on the front patio. There’s also a dog run behind the establishment, and bowls for food and water are provided.

Bring up to two dogs with you up to a maximum size of 80 lbs. each. Other pet types such as cats, birds, monkeys, snakes, or other animals are allowed at the discretion of each property and require approval.

12. Sue Higgins Park at Southland Dr. & Deerfoot Tr. S.E., Calgary
Sue Higgins Park lies along the west bank of the Bow River as it flows through the southeast corner of Calgary. The park consists of an island, river banks, flood plain and inland marshes. The park was established in 1994 and covers about 62 hectares.
It is pet-friendly and offers a fully fenced-in dog park for your furry companion to run around off-leash and make friends!
13. Bowmont Park at 85 St. N.W. & 48 Ave. N.W.
Bowmont Park is a large natural environment park that lies along the northern bank of the Bow River in the northwest part of Calgary. Featuring grasslands, valleys, rivers, and home to many wildlife.
They are pet-friendly and are running a new pilot program to test out dog bag dispensers! There are a total of three dispensers at the park entries.
