Tip: Timing your arrival and departure can make a big difference to how much you spend. Hopper recommends arriving on Saturday and departing Tuesday, which can help shave $250 off flights.

Need wheels in Arizona? Hopper says consumers should expect to pay an average of $85 per day for a Phoenix pickup, with most travelers looking for a four-day rental.
Lastly, think about meals. Food and beverage expenses will vary considerably, depending on where fans choose to eat and what they order, but it’s not unreasonable to budget at least $125 per day for food and drink.
Keep in mind that the cost of several items — game tickets and airfare in particular — are likely to climb in the coming weeks. If booked now, a four-day, three-night trip to Phoenix over Super Bowl weekend would cost about $8,726, per Hopper’s estimates.
