Eight-time Grammy-winning singer Usher will headline the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show. According to USA TODAY, performing the Super Bowl halftime show has been on Usher's bucket list for a while.
"It's an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can't wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they've seen from me before," the singer said in a statement.
In an Apple Music 1 interview with Zane Lowe, the singer announced his upcoming album "Coming Home," which will debut the same day as the Super Bowl. He also told Lowe he found out he would perform during the Super Bowl in a conversation with rapper and Roc Nation founder Jay-Z, who told Usher, "It's time for you to have that moment … the Super Bowl."
The 2024 Super Bowl will be broadcast on CBS. A special family-friendly version will also air on Nickelodeon. Super Bowl 58 can also be streamed on Paramount+.
